ReplyDeleteThis doesn't count all the money from endorsements. How much is too much and how much is someone worth to play baseball? A-Fraud not withstanding the Yankees offer of $15 Million a year for 3 years seems fair. $15 Million dollars ,at age 36 to play ball.
Only Honus Wagner and Luke Appling had great stats at shortstop in the whole history of this great game beyond age 36. $15Million! I would take it and thank the stars for my good fortune.
