i know that i have spoken (written) of this before but i cannot get it off my anchor.
The educational system that teaches our children is flawed.
It is ruled by over-paid administrators, unionized teachers and compliant parents.
School systems-especially where i live, have been gerrymandered worse than congressional districts.
i have no problem with teachers-i hold such a degree
i have no problem with unions - i pay weekly dues
But, if you shall excuse
the end user needs a voice.
do supermarkets get huge tax breaks to keep food prices low so that poor people can eat?
no-there is a SNAP program (that is another argument for another day)
Do health care providers get huge discounts to provide medical care?
no-there is medicare (should there be for all? again another argument for another day)
((should we feed a hungry man a fish or teach him to fish))
((an age old disagreement))
i want a voucher system
every student in America gets the same and it is no longer attached to property
i do not know the numbers
ask the C.B.O.
or economists
let's say-for the ease of discussion it's $7,000 per child
school 1-give me your money and i will educate your child
school 2-give me your money and more and i will educate your child
school 3- give me your money and we will rebate some for clothes and school supplies
school 4- pay your current property school taxes and send your kids within the defined boundaries
i have no children and never will
i have no vested interest other than what is best for all of us...
(talk amongst yourselves) none of you comment on this blog
