who is the active leader in wins among mlb pitchers?

(search-engines have to take a time-out)

hint: think longevity (obviously) in this era of the relief pitcher.

hint: he hit.198 as a 1st baseman for double- a affiliate of pittsburgh

before going back to rookie league to perfect his 1st love-pitching.

hint: aaron boone homered off him to send the yankees to the series.

  1. It really is Jamie Moyer, he is not retired just injured therefore not"active". Used it as a trivia question at the local HS game. Used Wakefield as my answer but would think that Moyer would have worked. I did qualify that Moyer was hurt and Petite retired so who was now the ACTIVE pitcher with the most wins...jeez not even 200!
