have you seen the price?

of animal protein these days.

skirt steak-$8.39 lb.

boneless center-cut the other white meat chops $5.49 lb.

lamb- rib or loin-$8.99 lb. ON SALE!

filet mignon?

"forgetahboutit"

top or short loin (strips-porterhouse)

or ribeyes

(cheaper and better prepared at the public house-for many)

what's a carnivore to do?

1st-remember-homo sapiens are omnivores

2nd-there are other proteins

3rd-if you must

follow the lost leader

(chicken breasts-top round london broil-home ground trimmings-ground turkey)

there are great cooking shows available

no "how to" grocery shop shows.

PS: nowadays people know the price of everything but the value of nothing

there are only two kinds of people who are really fascinating- people who absolutely know everything
and people who know absolutely nothing.
