i recall old films on t.v.
baseball games
where advertisements appeared on outfield walls...
seemed so strange...
today-
saw some clips from the late 70's early 80's
barren green outfield walls...
no placards
now-that seems strange...
advertisements are all over the walls again

the national anthem-brought to you by...
the pitching match-up brought to you )buy...buy...buy....

Look at even older films of the baseball games...not only were the ads missing, but everyone got dressed up to go to the ballpark. Men in shirts and ties, and fedoras, ladies in dresses. That was the good old days...and everybody could afford the price of a ticket.
