Raise the minimum wage

or change the terminology (for political reasons) to a "livable" wage.

$10 per hour as the president has suggested seems about right.

"GOOD GOD!" scream free-marketeers "prices will soar"

excuse me. i work 2 jobs. 1 union-1 non-union.

at the market (union) prices are lower than at the public house (non-union)

How can that be?

Raising the livable wage to $10 an hour, according to economists,

will raise the average public house meal by:

10 cents

(i make a mac and cheese that sells for $14.99)

i think joe six pack and suzie pedicure would still pay $15.09

to have us wait on them, cook their meals and wash the dishes

and the house will continue to turn a profit.

PS: 70% of what america produces we sell to other americans (barbara garson)

put more money in the working class heros hands and they will spend more

    a win-win for all

it aint rocket surgery. i mean brain science.
