The other week-or so-(Time)
where does it go?

one day,recently, i pedaled to work like any other day-horray!
(the combo betwixt hurray! & horror)

a white white dog, with a red-red mouth
(a mutt-me thinks? retriever-shepherd maybe-i was startled -but not alarmed)
This dog paced with me for about 100 yards-he on the sidewalk-i on the road
i sped-up-he responded-i slowed-he conccured
(i thought i was having a "god" moment-what the bejesus is going on here?)

About 30 feet from the T in the road-(All must stop)
the dog came off the sidewalk and walked into my path
if i had not braked-i think i would have hit him
Stupid Dog!(seen the 'toon?)

he proceeded to enter the T(with a car coming in each direction)
and stand dead center-facing south

he stopped traffic to allow me to pass

and then returned to the sidewalk and followed my pace.
